What are the phases of Orthodontic Treatment?

The normal time taken by orthodontic braces is between six to thirty months to complete. The treatment type depends on classification, type of dental service used to correct the problem, and perseverance of the patient. Here, we have explained three phases of orthodontic treatment.  1.The Preparation Stage: In the planning stage, an orthodontist diagnoses the problem to realign the teeth in the most effective and good way. In the first several visits a medical and dental evaluation is done. Even the specialist studies the model where he will ask you to bite down into a dental tray filled with a gel-like substance that hardens around the teeth. With its help, the models of the patient’s teeth are created. Then, after performing two of these activities, he will take an x-ray to look at your complications or pre-existing damage caused to the joint.
